12 December 2008 – 2 New Responders
Congratualtions to both Chris and Michael, who sucessfully completed their basic training yesterday. After returning for HQ they were both keen to get on the road and had 2 call outs within 2 hours of being on call.
10 December 2008 – Branston Junior School
After a very entertaining production of Oliver the musical, the group was presented with a cheque for £1000 from the Golfing Day, which the school held in the summer. Many thanks to everyone at Branston Junior School.
01 December 2008 – Branston Community College Donation
A cheque for £300 has been received from Branston Community College following a recent non-uniform day.
01 November 2008 – Welcome to Stuart
A warm welcome goes to Stuart, who has recently joined the team. Stuart also qualified as a Basic First resonder at the beggining of the month.
25 October 2008 – Branston Craft and Art Group
The Branston Craft and Art group have kindly donated £526.35, the proceeds, from their coffee morning held in October 2008.
14 September 2008 – Winner of 60’s Quiz Announced
The 60’s quiz, which has been running for the last few months, has now finished. Congratulations to the winner G King who wins a lunch voucher for The Chequers public house in Potterhanworth. Thank you to all those who entered the quiz and of the course The Chequers for donating the prize. The event has raised another £100 to support the running costs of the group.
18 August 2008 – Second Kit Operational
Thanks to the generosity of the residents of Branston, Potterhanworth and Nocton we have been able to purchase our second First Responder Kit. The additional kit will enable us to improve our response times by having one responder on call in Branston and another in either Potterhanworth and Nocton. We now have 6 fully qualified First Responders and 6 awaiting training. Why not find out more about the equipment we use here.
